With so many vans and lorries on the roads, it might seem that loading and unloading would not represent a significant issue. After all, most large freight depots and warehouse operations have fork lifts and staff on hand. However, there are many situations and scenarios where fork lift or assisted loading and unloading are not available. Whilst some delivery options can necessitate having a second person in the vehicle, this is costly and inefficient.
MAD, a well-established European handling specialist, launched the EasyLoad range to address this problem. EasyLoad vehicle cranes are roof-mounted inside a van or trailer, with their own purpose-designed support frame. The cranes are light-weight and do not take up any floor space in the vehicle, and they are capable of lifting and lowering a wide range of freight from the ground to the load bed. EasyLoad cranes can be extended and retracted with the supplied electronic controller, which also controls lifting and lowering functions. For ease of loading, the crane can even be manually moved to the left or right side of the load area. A variety of attachments and harnesses are available separately to suit different handling needs.

“Will the EasyLoad crane fit into any vehicle?”
A wide range of vehicle models are covered, but a minimum of 1.9m of internal roof length is required for fitment.
“Is specialist installation required?”
Installation of the EasyLoad is recommended, but we can supply the product without fitting if required; please note that some cutting and customisation is required if self-installing.
“Is the support frame mandatory?”
Yes, this is required for almost all van installations. Lorries and trailers require a different type of frame and costs may vary depending on model.
“Do any vehicle models have installation constraints?”
Yes, any vans where the rear doors are lower than the roof require the crane to be mounted lower so as to clear the door opening.
“Can the EasyLoad be operated by just one person?”
Yes it can easily and safely be operated by just one person.
