Steeler was launched in 1995 in Poland by a group of specialist automotive engineers. The company was initially focused on building protection bars for 4×4 models, with their products meeting the emerging requirements for EU certification and homologation. Unlike many of their competitors, Steeler were able to sell their safety-compliant products across Europe and soon became the market leader.

With a strong and growing position in the European marketplace, and dealers across Poland and central Europe, Steeler products started to become dealer options on Toyota, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Kia, Ford, Subaru and Isuzu vehicles. The key to their success was the focus on quality, with only the highest grade materials and coatings being used and a precision manufacturing process being developed in house including precision tube bending and uniform, machined welded joints.

Whilst different brands of protection bars may look similar from a distance, there are many low cost, low quality options available from other brands and these products are often formed from thin tube with uneven welds and will not stay looking presentable for long – nor will they offer any useful form of protection against knocks and bumps. On the other hand, if you invest in a Steeler product you are enhancing the looks and abilities of your vehicle and the Steeler upgrades you add will stand the test of time.

In recent years, Steeler have been asked to design and manufacture various products for the military and for police forces.

One such product is a durable range of hard tops and this ranger has been made available to end users and businesses across Europe. The quality of the build and construction is second to none, and Steeler hard tops and canopies are available for several current models including the Hilux, Ranger, L200, Navara, D-Max, Amarok and Mercedes X-Class. Innovative features include MOLLE systems for securing items to the inside of the canopy, full sealing to keep dust out, secure locks and rail systems for mounting roof racks and accessories.

A Steeler hard top is a heavy duty and durable product and is more than capable of supporting a roof tent or loaded roof rack – whatever conditions the vehicle is used in. For these reasons, Steeler hard tops are the product of choice for many trade and commercial users including agriculture and farming, law enforcement and rescue, utility companies and more.

Steeler’s product range has continued to develop, with an extensive range of underbody protection plates and winch mounting systems. Again, these products are designed and manufactured in-house at Steeler’s state-of-the-art production facility in Sokolka, Poland. The company has made a huge investment in the latest tooling and equipment, and this attention to detail shows in every one of their products.
