Branches, brambles, mud and stones can quickly make your pride and joy look worn and tired, and this kind of damage makes a big difference to both appearance and resale value. Rhinohide Armor is a unique and highly practical body protection kit, designed to help protect paint and body panels from scratches and stone chips when driving off-road.
Each Rhinohide kit is model-specific and can easily be fitted by attaching the special Armor Lock attachment anchor points to your vehicle body. With the anchor points in place, attaching and removing the panels is a simple task and can be achieved the supplied tool. Rhinohide Armor has been tested in a wide variety of on and off road conditions, including at highway speeds. Therefore, Rhinohide Armor can be left permanently on your vehicle to create a unique and distinctive look, wherever you take your 4WD.
A padded storage bag is supplied so the panels can be safely stored when not in use. Installation is really simple, with instructions supplied.

“Can I drive at highway speeds with Rhinohide Armor fitted?”
Yes you can! Rhinohide Armor has a unique attachment system and is road-rated for up to 75mph. Therefore, it can be used for both on and off road adventures.
“Why is Rhinohide Armor not available for all 4×4 models?”
This is a really common question, but developing new kits is a very lengthy and costly process. New kits are being developed right now, so other models will be added to the range soon.
“Is Rhinohide Armor compatible with accessories such as snorkel kits?”
Yes, Rhinohide Armor can be modified to suit most accessories. We recommend trimming the panels with a Dremel or blade. It is important to re-position the Armor Lock mounting points at about 250mm apart; new Armor Lock mounts can be purchased from us if needed. Any modifications are carried out at your own risk.
“Can I leave Rhinohide Armor on my vehicle permanently?”
Many users do leave Rhinohide Armor on their vehicles permanently. Be sure to inspect the panels monthly and do not allow debris to build up behind the panels over time.
“What is Rhinohide Armor made from?”
Rhinohide panels are made from 2mm thick, high impact UV stabilised ARB – the same material as hard hats.
“How does Rhinohide Armor attach to my vehicle?”
Rhinohide Armor attaches with special, patented Armor Lock anchor points. The anchor points use specially developed 3M tape; they are intended to remain on the vehicle but can easily be removed in the future if required.
“Can Rhinohide Armor be painted or customised?”
Yes, it can be painted, colour coded, wrapped or customised with graphics or company logos.
“How do I store my Rhinohide Armor kit when it is not in use?”
Each kit comes with a specially designed padded storage bag. When not in use, the panels should be stored in a cool, dry place with no heavy objects placed on top as this can cause panel distortion. We recommend cleaning the panels before storing them.
“Is this Rhinohide Armor suitable for both on and off-road use?”
Yes, this product is designed for both on and off road use.
