The Meyer Crossfire is a contractor-quality, free-flowing insert hopper spreader, designed for use with pickup trucks. This product has been designed from the ground up to create a steady flow of material to the spinner. Two different sizes are available to suit most single or dual cab pickup models. The Crossfire range features an electrically driven material conveyor system and a premium grade auger, powered by a heavy duty 1/2 HP motor and gearbox. This product is designed to efficiently deliver the proper amount of de-icing material, right where it is needed.

The hopper screen prevents larger chunks of material from entering the hopper; the inverted V-design then routs the material evenly to the auger. With an independently controlled spinner, material consumption can be more effectively managed to reduce consumption and allow the user to only spread material where it is needed.

Two model variants are available – STANDARD and DELUXE. The deluxe model includes an integrated pre-wet system in the side of the hopper and can also detect a jam in the hopper, automatically going into reverse feed mode to clear the jam without the need for user intervention.

In-cab control is offered, thanks to the multi-fuction controller. Variable speed functions are available for both auger and spiner, along with a blast mode, vibrate mode and on-off switch. Deluxe models also feature in -cab pre-wet control.
