The Meyer Blaster is a contractor-quality, free-flowing premium tailgate spreader and is designed for mounting to many larger 4×4 vehicles, pickup trucks, SUVs, tractors and vans. This product has been designed from the ground up to create a steady flow of material to the spinner. Easy attachment is offered via the 50mm hitch attachment – which requires the vehicle to have a pre-existing 50mm tow hitch already in place. The Blaster range features a direct-drive system which links the motor directly to the auger, giving up to 75 percent more drive power than non-direct drive steups. The brush auger prevents salt from leaking out of the hopper throat when the unit is not operating. This model comes as standard with an on-demand vibrator and a load-bearing baffle plate, for constant performance in less than ideal conditions.
In-cab control is offered, thanks to the one-touch, illuminated controller. Variable speed functions are available, along with a variable spread pattern, blast mode, vibrate mode and on-off switch.
