The Dometic FreshJet 3,000 offers an innovative air conditioning solution for caravans and motorhomes over 7m in length. This is a quiet and efficient unit, striking a balance between a lightweight and compact design and impressive heating and cooling capabilities. Features include an LED display, wireless remote control and LED lighting.

A lightweight EPP base pan was used by Dometic to ensure a lighter weight build. The unit can be controlled by either its multi-function wireless remote control or on board touch controls. The two-piece air distribution board is included and makes for simpler assembly. With a heating capacity of 3,107W and a cooling capability of 2,516W (8,600 BTU/h) this is a practical dual-purpose unit with a wide range of temperature options and can offer cool or warm fresh air at the touch of a button.

This product can either be supplied for self-installation, or it can be fitted at Dometic’s own installation facility in Tewkesbury. If you choose to have your unit installed by Dometic, an extra 12 months will be added to the product warranty. Additional fitting costs may apply, depending on the specifics of your vehicle.

“Is this easy to install?”
Yes, installation is straightforward, but for a very reasonable cost the unit can be installed by Dometic’s specialist technicians.

“Is drilling or cutting required?”
If your roof already has the correct size opening then drilling or cutting may not be required, but it does vary by install.

“I already have an old AC unit fitted, can the Dometic engineer remove this?”
Yes, this can usually be removed as part of the installation process.

“Are there any other installation costs to pay?”
This depends on your vehicle and the details of the install you require.

“Is this product suitable for long term use or overland travel?”
