With a hard top range available, Rockalu launched two sizes of awning. These would mount to their hard tops, but also to other vehicles such as the VW Transporter T6. The terms bat wing and fox wing awnings are often used in the market, but Rockalu chose their own terminology: 270 and 360 degree awnings.
A 270 degree awning opens to both ends to create a large, semi-circular shelter or sun shade. This is as long as most larger vehicles when extended, and provides a significant amount of coverage. The 360 degree version also extends around the rear of a vehicle, to give a huge L-shaped coverage area. In both cases, Rockalu used lightweight alloy frames, high quality fabrics and also made available a side wall set which would allow the awning area to be enclosed. This makes a really large and useful sheltered or storage area, much bigger than is normally seen with regular straight awnings.
To round out the range, a modular storage solution for pickups was launched which features a fridge slide, load tray, and a modular storage box system which allows you to keep everything in your overland rig secured and easy to access.
With new products always in the pipeline, Rockalu are a fast growing European manufacturer and their range is stylish and innovative.
