Quick Pitch was founded in Osborne Park, Western Australia, in 1982, by a team of experienced fabricators. After being invited to join an expedition along Australia’s famous Canning Stock Route, equipped with less than ideal sleeping and cooking facilities, the idea of building an integrated, high quality off-road product range took hold, and the Quick Pitch Camper was designed and prototyped.

Although they are sometimes thought of as a South African brand, the origins of the company lie in Australia where they were initially established to be a distributor of high quality 4WD products from other brands before bringing their own unique products to market.

In the 1980’s, Quick Pitch established their own manufacturing base in Australia, producing storage products for overland travel. Demand soon grew, and shortly after the company relocated its manufacturing base to Pretoria, South Africa, to meet demand from the fast-growing southern African market.

With Quick Pitch, the focus has always been on adding convenience and comfort to the off-road adventure market. Key products have long included storage drawer systems, pull-out kitchens, roof tents, awnings, and accessories to make life more practical and more comfortable in the bush – whether the terrain is in Australia, South Africa, or elsewhere in the world.

What makes Quick Pitch unique as a brand? This would be their ability to develop and manufacture problem-solving products, often taking established ideas and concepts and taking them to the next level of convenience and practicality. For example, their roof top tents are laden with features such as ventilation, storage, insulation and ease of use – giving benefits to the user which are often not found with lesser brands.

Over the years, new ranges have been developed, including roof racks, camp showers, the famous Trax-Table, canopies and even tyres. Wherever Quick Pitch see the need, they work together to find a solution.

Whilst the brand has found a hope with various types of users, the Quick Pitch name will always be synonymous with overland travel and adventure, and their products are just as at home in the Sahara or on the trails of Europe as they are in rural Africa or the Aussie outback. With decades of experience behind them and a young and energetic development team, this is a brand to watch in terms of innovation. Alongside Quick Pitch, the company is also home to several other brands including Gomad Canopies, All Outback Gear, Aoqishi Aqsone Tyres, Desert Racks and Desert Products.
