HSP

HSP are an Australian manufacturer of 4×4 and pickup truck load protection systems. Established in 1994 in Melbourne, The brand is probably best known as the innovator of the Roll R Cover. You won’t find a lot of HSP products on sale in the UK, so is this premium product range worth investing in?

In the early 2000’s, HSP started development work on what became the Roll R Cover. Whilst manual pickup bed roller covers were already a common sight, HSP realised that there was a demand for a high-spec, premium product with the highest build quality standards and the addition of one feature which set them apart from the competition: electric opening and closing.

With the press of either a vehicle-mounted button or via a remote control fob, the idea was to improve vehicle security and convenience in a way that had not been done before. Several product versions later and the product is a common sight in the suburbs of Melbourne and Sydney and even on the dusty trails of the outback. Their clever design incorporates the motor and linkages into the roller canister, thus taking up no additional space in the pickup bed. Add to this a virtually indestructible thief-proof design and sleek and attractive styling and you have a winning product – wherever your travels take you.

The HSP range does not stop at the Roll R Cover. Other products and innovations include load bed liners, hard lids for the pickup bed, sliding load trays and tailgate central locking kits. Vehicle models covered by the HSP range include the Ranger, Hilux, Navara, L200, Amarok and D-Max.
