Selecting the right kit for your vehicle weight and usage is very important. Most standard vehicles, without extra permanent weight, will benefit most from a medium-rate setup. If you have permanent front or rear accessory weight such as steel bumpers, winches, etc, we you will need the correct parts to properly support the extra weight. Where a kit has a minimum weight rating, this is intended for constant weight which remains on the vehicle at all times and not for variable loads.

TrakRyder Gas Shocks
Pedders TrakRyder shock absorbers are twin-tube, oil and gas filled dampers. This is the traditional design for an on and off-road shock absorber, offering an upgrade over most standard shocks in terms of both damping ability and durability. Low pressure nitrogen is used for on-road comfort and off-road performance.

Air Assist Helper Airbag System
Pedders Air Assist Helper Airbag System improves the towing ability of the vehicle, as well as compensating for minor sagging in the rear associated with carrying weight. The Air Assist system also restricts bottoming-out when loaded or travelling over rough and uneven terrain. This addition is ideal for large weight changes, such as occasional or regular towing or carrying of heavy loads.

When used correctly, the Air Assist System can allow the vehicle to maintain correct ride height whilst retaining a comfortable ride. All parts are included as standard to facilitate installation with manual inflation; the user can then inflate the system easily using a foot pump, portable compressor, or at a petrol station.

Pedders only use Firestone airbags in their kits, which are widely regarded as the best and most durable airbags available.

Airbag Controller Kit
Pedders Airbag Controller Kits are available separately and give you the option to add an air compressor, in-cabin mounted pressure gauge and a pair of paddle switches for easy and accurate inflation and deflation of each airbag.
