Pedders kits are developed as a complete system and undergo extensive testing, both on and off road. This leads to a safe, comfortable and durable suspension. Very few brands actually do this; many lesser brands will just buy in parts which were never intended to work together. This can lead to poor ride quality, unpredictable handling or even safety issues.
“Will I need to replace other parts?”
No, additional parts are not normally needed. This kit is designed to work with standard brake lines and other standard components.
“Is this kit suitable for road use?”
Yes, the kit is intended to be comfortable on-road and durable off-road.
“Is this kit suitable for commercial users?”
Yes, this kit is suitable for many commerical purposes including towing, agricultural, emergency response vehicles and other business uses.
“Do I need to add airbags?”
Airbags are a very useful upgrade, but are best suited to vehicles which occasionally or regularly tow or carry widely varying amounts of weight. For other users, particularly where the vehicle is constantly loaded, selecting the correct springs is a better solution.
“Do airbags allow me to exceed the GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) specified by the manufacturer?”
No, they are designed to assist with keeping the vehicle at its correct ride height and are not intended to facilitate overloading.
