The Gobi-X Utility Box Carrier is a robust and practical storage solution, designed for off-road enthusiasts who value both accessibility and security. The box is finished with a durable black powder coating and is mounted on a sturdy articulated arm, similar to a wheel carrier or jerry can carrier. It attaches directly to the Gobi-X rear carrier bumper and can be smoothly opened to the side, allowing unhindered access to the vehicle cargo area.
The box is supported by a heavy hinge mechanism and a gas spring, making the arm and box easy to swing open. Together with the heavy duty latch, this ensures that the unit stays safely in place while driving. The stainless steel lid features a high-quality rubber seal, which ensures that your belongings stay clean and dry, even in the harshest conditions.
For added security, the Utility Box has sturdy latches which can accept a padlock (not included) so that the vehicle can be left unattended. The integrated African style bottle opener is made of stainless steel and mounted on the corner of the box, making this a rugged and practical addition to your vehicle. Optional accessories, such as a folding stainless steel table and a top carrier, are available to further expand the functionality of the Utility Box Carrier, making it an even more versatile companion for your next adventure.
