Premium Upgrade Kit
Add interior lighting and central locking to your Sportlid with the Premium Upgrade Kit. All brackets, wiring loom and other parts are included.
Upgrade Strut Kit
If you are mounting a load rack on your Sportlid or frequently need to open it with more than 15kg loaded on top, the Upgrade Strut Kit is recommended for easier opening.
Sports Bar Fitting Kit
This kit allows many OE standard sports bars to be fitted to the Sportlid. Brackets and fitting hardware is included. Ask us before trying to fit a sports bar as not all bars are compatible.
Load Bar System
This kit adds a pair of cross-bars to your Sportlid, which attach securely to the channel system and are rated for dynamic loads of up to 75kg.
BASE Rack Load Rack
Upgrade your Sportlid with an ARB BASE Rack. This option adds a 1255mm x 1285mm alloy ‘roof rack’ to your Sportlid, and allows you to add many of the accessories in the BASE Rack range. We can supply a matching rack for your cab roof too if needed.
Tonneau covers are a great way to keep the load in the bed of your pickup truck secure and away from prying eyes. Not all pickup owners need a hard top, and having a tonneau fitted means that anything from luggage to tools to camping gear can be easily stowed and left in the vehicle for longer periods.
ARB have worked for years on the Sportlid, in partnership with New Zealand based hard top manufacturer Proform. Market-leading features and options include locking slam handle, gas strut operation, optional central locking, optional interior lighting, an optional load bar system capable of supporting 75kg, and even the option to add an ARB BASE Rack load rack.
Unlike most lids and tonneau covers, the ARB Sportlid has a trick up its sleeve. The cover moves rearwards when opening as opposed to just moving upwards, allowing the cover to open fully for 3-sided access – even with objects such as bikes loaded on top. What’s more, the cover can be fitted along with many OE manufacturer’s sports bars – which is normally not possible with tonneau covers.

Yes, this is a heavy duty cover and highly durable.
“Is the ARB Load Shield watertight?”
Yes, the cover itself is watertight. To keep the load bed dry, you should follow the Sportlid maintenance instructions and ensure that the load area cannot let in water anywhere else.
“Are any special tools needed for installation?”
No, instalation is simple and straightforward.
“Can the ARB Sportlid be temporarily removed for carrying large objects?”
Yes, it can be easily lifted off from the vehicle by two people.
“What loads can the Sportlid support and still be able to open?”
The Sportlid can open with up to 25kg loaded on top. If you regularly load it with more than 15kg or fit a load rack, the Upgrade Strut Kit is recommended.
